The Geely E5 continues its strong run in the Greek electric car market. In July it claimed first place in the electric D-SUV segment, one of the most competitive and fastest-growing categories in the market.
The result carries even more weight because the E5 was the best seller across both large electric SUV segments for the month, and fourth in overall electric car sales in Greece regardless of category. It reflects steadily growing acceptance of the model by drivers who want a modern design, advanced technology, comfort, efficiency, high build quality and low running costs in one electric SUV.
A strong seven months
July’s success builds on an already positive year. From January to July the Geely E5 holds a top-three position in its segment and is among the ten electric models with the most registrations in Greece. Its consistent presence at the top shows that drivers are now looking for more than zero emissions: they want a complete package that comfortably meets the demands of everyday life.

With 218 hp and 0–100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, it delivers instant performance without sacrificing efficiency. Its LFP Short Blade battery is available in 60 kWh or 68 kWh capacities, for up to 430 km or 475 km of combined range (WLTP), and fast charging from 30% to 80% in around 20 minutes makes both daily driving and longer trips easy.
Dynamic proportions and an aerodynamic design are matched by a cabin that puts space, ergonomics and the digital experience first, while a Red Dot award confirms the model’s design identity. Safety is another key strength: the E5 has earned five stars from Euro NCAP and ANCAP, with a comprehensive suite of active and passive safety systems and advanced driver-assistance technologies.
